Pre season is always a nightmare as out requirements for balls of approximately 200 of various sizes and qualities is placed. It is extremely important the correct decisions are made in terms of manufacturer and model of ball. From training to match balls in size three, four and five in this quantity becomes a costly mistake if the wrong choice is made.

The last three seasons we have used three of the big names in the market. In two of those three years we needed a top up order to see us through to the end of the season with the third (Nike) proving to be most satisfactory.

This year, in addition to the afore noted suppliers, we have "Road Tested" twenty models from a new supplier Ball-boy.co.uk. We found the product to be of the highest quality. Certainly to the high standards of our previous supplier but considerably cheaper on like for like basis. A major factor for us as, I am sure, for most clubs.

The people who are our supplier are as important, to us, as the quality of the ball itself. For that immediate respose the day something goes wrong. Here too the people of Ball-boy.co.uk are known to us from another area of football. In this area thay are held in the highest regard by senior members of the Professional, Semi-Professional and Amateur game.

Delivery? When kick off comes you just have to have them don't you? Here again promises were made and kept. Who could ask for more? Certainly not
